Assessment of three types of heat exchangers

The aim of this thesis is to assess selected three types of heat exchangers designed for emergency cooling. The theoretical part of this thesis consists of a research containing an overview of exchangers. It includes a description of the construction of exchangers, characte-ristics in terms of heat transfer and an indication of the areas of its use. The practical part deals with the thermal and hydraulic design of two tube heat exchangers and a plate heat exchanger. Finally, the evaluation of the designed exchangers is performed.

Tool for Determining Attributions of Online Marketing Activities

The tool allows distribution of credit for the conversion to various marketing activities. So-called attribution modelling is concerned. The distribution of conversion is described by the models, except those most famous (first interaction model, last interaction model, linear model), that allow to create any distribution of conversion to several marketing activities. The use of this tool may be useful in the surveys of the effectiveness of marketing activities.

Proposal for Using Virtual Reality Technology in Marketing of a Company

This Bachelor Thesis describes the current advent of virtual reality (VR) technology and possible use of this technology in marketing of the company. I will apply this technology to PTÁČEK - velkoobchod a. s. In the first part I will focus on the theory of marketing, marketing communication, marketing trends including virtual reality and psychological aspects in connection with VR. In the second part I will introduce the company PTÁČEK - velkoobchod a. s. And using selected analyzes I will analyze its marketing environment, which I will summarize in the resulting SWOT analysis. The third part contains a proposal to improve the company's marketing through VR technology, it‘s implementation and solution in practice.

The subject of this work is the solution of a new building of nursery school in the village of Ivanovice. It is a cellarless, two-storey building for 40 childern. The floor plan is „L“ shaped with orientation of the classes to the south and west which provide enough rate (amount) of insolation which support good mood and development of the childern. The object is situated in medium sloping land mainly in the area of familly and residential houses. The main entrance to the building is situated on the south from where si access road to the object too. Comfort parking is provided by ten parking places, one is determined for disabled people. The lighting and ventilation of all rooms is provided by windows. Roofing is solved using of wooden truss in combination with single casing roof.

Storage media for data archiving

This dissertation explains the problem of archiving data based on the media used. Different information carriers and their properties are described in relation with their construction and read and write methods. Depending on write method on individual medium, this part is divided into two main areas. Last part deals with architecture of redundant arrays of independent disks and their standard levels. According to principles of the independent disk array activity, the properties as well as advantages and disadvantages of specific level are discussed.

Bosnia and Herzegovina: attitudes, interests and efforts of Croats and Serbs

The main goal of this thesis is to study the attitudes, interests and efforts of Croats and Serbs regarding Bosnia and Herzegovina. The research is specialized on the attitudes, interests and efforts of both nations in the issue of the Dayton Agreement and the Srebrenica events. The second focus of the work is the analysis of presenting and informing the Croatian and Serbian media about the mentioned issue in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Critical discourse analysis will be used as a research method. The research shows that the Croats seek a change in the Dayton Agreement and the Serbs deny the genocide committed in Srebrenica.

Media education and literacy of future teachers of health education at the Fakulty of Education of Charles University

Master thesis Media education and literacy of future teachers of health education at the Fakulty of Education of Charles University deals with the issue of their readiness to teach this area in schools. The aim of the thesis was to find out to what extent students of the Faculty of Education of Charles University in Health Education are ready to implement media education in schools. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the theoretical definition of media education and literacy and related terminology. Furthermore, I have included in my work the historical development and gradual inclusion of this issue in Czech curriculum documents. In the practical part, using quantitative and qualitative methods, research was conducted with the participation of 34 selected students, which focused on the readiness of future teachers to teach media education in schools. The data arising from the questionnaire survey were graphically processed and commented. Furthermore, the views of four respondents on the issue of teaching on this topic are part of my thesis. The research revealed that most students had been marginally exposed to media education during their undergraduate studies, but felt this preparation was insufficient for their future teaching practice.
